SEOUL, South Korea - South Korean workers walk into the demilitarized zone (DMZ) on Nov. 26 as North and South Korea begin land surveys to find suitable locations for a cross-border railway line and a parallel road to be constructed on the east coast. A 15-member South Korean team completed survey work in the southern sector of the 4-kilometer DMZ while a 12-member North Korean team did the same in the northern sector of the same zone on the east coast.
